Bathysphere

The collaborative project of sound artists Steve Auxilec (UK) and Eden Grey (USA) fuses cinematic orchestration, industrial rhythms, feedback and noise with the heavy bass of dubstep and electro to create a dark, futuristic sound.

A chance meeting and a shared love of robots led to a flow of ideas for their improvised live performances, citing Kraftwerk, Dopplereffekt and Autechre as major influences. Hailing from Miami, Florida, Eden Grey is a classically trained pianist and electronic music producer who joined forces with sound designer and live act Auxilec earlier this year. Together, they deliver full on frequency assaults to unsuspecting audiences.
