STENCH is an artist-led forum that brings innovative and experimental performance to an adapted warehouse space in a former industrial part of Leicester city centre. Events happen on the first Friday of each month during the student calendar that bring together local and international artist. STENCH is interested in the promotion and dissemination of: sonic art, improvisation, installations, noise, silence, dangerous experiments, twisted beats, dirty electronics, deep bass, visualisations, new media, and exhibitions.

Summer Sundae is almost upon us once again and our 4th year sees us presenting a great line up of live electronic artists on the Rising Stage, a host of new collaborative audio visual work in our Nanoplex and live visual artists in the indoor stage.

Nanoplex favourite Freud's Bus Stop directed by James Tarling screens for a second season with a brand new electro-acoustic soundtrack.
Taking inspiration from many years of producing soundtracks and audio-visual work for theatre, film and installation, The Buoys have created an album of cinematic soundscapes using custom-built electronics, field recordings, spitting static and wide screen guitar. The result is an isolatingly warm album of ambience and texture.

metro-boulot-dodo's installation FIB with soundtrack by Bathysphere will be appearing at the Medway Fuse Festival from the 10th - 12th May 2007.
