Bathysphere

Tim Wright and John Richards have worked on numerous projects together since the 1990s, most notably in the group Sand who have released three albums on Soul Jazz Records. Despite their work together, they have had separate career paths. Tim Wright has been released, under his own name and most notable the pseudonyms Tube Jerk and Germ, on some of the key electronic record labels of the last fifteen years. These include Mute Records, Tresor, General Production Recordings, PIAS, and Sativae. He has also remixed artists from Scorn, through Crsitian Vogel to Laurent Garnier and Goldfrapp. John Richards is known for his work with electro-noise improvisers kREEPA and the Dirty Electronics Ensemble. sevenlegspider brings their work together and explores the crossover between dance music, noise, improvisation and visual arts.
