Auxilec presents Sofalofa live at the National Space Center

Leicester's National Space Centre planetarium was the venue for a specially commissioned live performance of Sofalofa's debut album 'Mellifluous'. Presented in 5.1 surround sound, Sofalofa composed cinematic ambient soundscapes using a combination of electronic sounds, field recordings and classical instruments. Performing with Sofalofa were Bathysphere's Stu Smith (ASMO) and one of the UK's leading electro-acoustic artists, John Richards (kREEPA, Sand).

Sean Clark of Cuttlefish Digital Arts projected live video onto the 360 degree cinema screen with DMX lighting to immerse the audience in a unique live audiovisual experience.

This event was promoted by Auxilec and supported by PRSF Live Connections fund.
