The Buoys are Chris Cousin, Stu Smith and Steve Gibbs.
Chris Cousin is a musician and producer, releases as Sofalofa (Deep-Water, AI records and Fabric) and collaboratively with Chin Chin, Big Toe, and Normal Position. He has composed soundtracks for film, TV, theatre and installations.
Stu Smith is a man of many talents, he specializes in analogue synths and custom built circuit bent electronics, in-between working as a cameraman, film editor and graphic designer. He records under the name of ASMO, played keyboards throughout the 90's with psychedelic-dub band Heliotrope and has done production work for the Human League.
Steve Gibbs is best known for his heavyweight dub project Vibronics. Recording and producing reggae for release through his own label Scoops and Zion Trains Universal Egg labels. He has composed soundtracks for theatre and installations for many years.
